It was often good, and it was really not disappointed. great meals and offers, high standard of food round.

Beautiful best fish and chips ever, go at least every month and the staff are nice thanks that they really enjoyed my visit today with my sister and friend.

I am undergoing bereavement counselling and was told to visit happy places, i went to Angel pub for sunday lunch, was served a drink i never asked for, food was inedible, heated to beyond in microwave, i went to the counter to tell them, i was imminently told to leave, i left and called a taxi to go home, i was sat in the outside space, the lady came out told me to f off the premises, i told her i was waiting for a taxi, I cannot stand nor walk far as im disabled, i explained this, she said i dont give a f, not my problem. I had happy memories of sunday lunch there, she has killed them all.

Old looking basic pub, but we visited after many positive reviews, and we're not disappointed we had food in fish and chips and the fish was lovely and real chips! Worth a visit only disappointment for many on a Friday afternoon was stopped serving grub after 2 of whichI remember seeing 4/5 couples turned away.

Very friendly atmosphere, service good, food lovely, definitely worth a visit.
