Summerhouse Bakery - East Staffordshire

I hosted my baby shower at this restaurant and it was wonderful. The staff were all very friendly, the food was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I visited this hidden gem again today and had a wonderful breakfast, as usual. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place.

Lovely BIG mug of coffee and absolutely HUGE piece of fresh, tasted very homemade cake. Absolutely huge would have been enough for two people. The person serving was not too friendly, but waitress who delivered the order was happy enough. However, my friend had a bakewell slice which was really dry shame as it looked nice. She didn't finish it. Dropped a star for my friend's cake. Nice place though and we didn't feel rushed like we do at some places that seem to want you to vacate as soon as you've finished your cake. It's only just moved to it's new venue so will put it down to teething problems and try it again.

The food was lovely as were the staff, nothing was too much trouble. The menu doesn't say but if you have the 8 or 10 item breakfast you get a cup of tea or coffee included which was a nice surprise. I couldn't help admiring the cake selection, took a huge iced bakewell home with me for later.

Fantastic food and great value , even better at the new location, looking forward to returning very soon .
