Common Ground - East Victoria Park

Awesome Menu. I love the food here. The mix between the fridge display and the pizzas and pastas etc. on the menu means I always have something different to choose from. Never had a bad meal and still haven't tried everything!

Great coffee. Reading a few other reviews makes me think I've just been lucky for a very long time but I've been getting coffees from here for about a year now and always found them to be consistently good, its the only decent place to get a coffee on campus!

Nice atmosphere. However this is greatly overshadowed by it's appalling quality of coffee. It might just be their Wednesday barista (seriously, go practice more take the time to TASTE your own coffee) making some seriously funky concoctions. For our group of 4 it's our go to place on Wednesdays (we love the quirky menu) but after several weeks of repeatedly being disappointed we learnt that common ground is NOT the place to come for coffee.

Good food! love their burger and pizzas! their pastas are well made, but too expensive for such a small part! they can't really fill on their pasta, so I would probably recommend their burgers! her 'buttermilk fried chicken burger' is probably my entry! I love this place on the campus of curtin university is, but it is really expensive, especially a student, it is hard to afford everyday essentials already and they should consider making food on the campus a little more affordable!

The chickpea burger is delicious and so is the Asian beef salad. I think eating is getting better. the service is average.
