Franklins Tavern - East Victoria Park

We discovered franklins via groupon and were originally very impressed and have been back several times since. Unfortunately, our last visit has convinced us very much that never again put in franclin's foot. the service was the worst thing I ever got. when she was asked what the cake of the day was, the bardame reacted with I don't know after she had to be asked a few times more, she went grudgingly to the kitchen to find out. then she tried to calculate after ordering drinks for a tequila and orange when from earlier visit we know that they are after a few arguments, they finally with as well as their appalled customers I think I have to give it to them for above when the food arrived, it was very disappointing and I was still further noticed when cockroaches were noticed to crawl the walls. then to finish the evening when I went back to another tequila and orange another dame tried to accuse me, claiming that the price had been filed earlier this week. unnecessary to say, we all felt that the bar staff tried to tear us down and put the extra money in! we will never be back!

Nice staff can not do enough for them. I had a groupon credit for the steak it was very nice and large portion size. large selection on hahn bier. they bring back the voucher and I will be back.

Unfortunately our last visit has thoroughly convinced us to NEVER set foot in Franklin's again. The service was the worst I have ever received. When asked what the pie of the day was the bar lady responded with "I don't know" after having to be asked a couple more times she grudgingly went to the kitchen to find out. Then upon ordering drinks she tried to charge $10.50 for a tequila and orange when from previous visits we know they are $7. After some argument she finally relented with "well as your a disgruntled customer I guess I have to give it to you for $7". On top of that when the food arrived it was very disappointing and I was put off even further when cockroaches were noticed crawling up the walls. Then to top off the evening when I went back to get another tequila and orange another lady tried to charge me $8 claiming the price had been put up earlier that week. Needless to say we all felt the bar staff were attempting to rip us off and pocket the extra cash! We will never be back again!
