Food excellent , the Hall and grounds are super , terrific kitchen garden

I went there for a cousins wedding, a great looking place, welcoming and friendly staff, and had a great day. Plenty of parking.

Absolutely fabulous meal. Each course of the tasting menu was beautifully presented and completely delicious. The test of a tasting menu for me is to arrive at the end of it satisfied, but not over full. This was exactly how we felt tonight. We wish we had stayed overnight as the building looked historic and full of character. We also could have spent more time reading through the massive wine list and then enjoying a bottle (or two). The service was unobtrusive and efficient and the sommelier was very helpful and knowledgeable- he brought us a couple of glasses of lovely wine. We hope to return.

It is a shame we did not see the house during the day as I expect it would look stunning. The whole experience was great. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food and wine were excellent. Favourite was the duck. next time we will stay over at the hotel. Such a great history.

We had an amazing experience at this Michelin-starred restaurant with a perfect tasting menu and wine pairing. The service was top-notch and made our Valentine's evening so special. Our stay at Askham Hall also allowed us to enjoy their delicious breakfasts. Thank you to everyone involved for a wonderful experience.
