Great food, lovely setting. Prices good. Friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Near to Lowther Castle.

Delicious lunch, coffee and ice cream. Had the Frittata and salad from the specials board which was excellent. Came back after our tour of the hall and shops for the ice cream which was also very tasty. Esme was especially welcoming and friendly. The cafe is a real find.

Very friendly welcome from helpful caring staff. Great cafe with lovely cakes and scones. Fantastic to be able to meet with friends for a cuppa.

We booked with the cafe after another local restaurant let us down. The team did everything possible to make a perfect afternoon tea. We loved it! Will certainly go back to try out the rest of the menu.

It really is! We've tried cheese scones in many cafés around the country but this is the best, both for texture and flavour. Tasty coffee too.
