Riverside Fish Chips - Eden

Well where to start i reviewed a couple months ago The food then was spot on today I went for the lunch fish special £6.10 with chips and either peas gravy or curry sauce It was cooked to order so was nice and fresh so on the food side I would have again The problem I have is one of the servers while I was waiting not only took chips from a customer dinner but ate them I watched her do it Not only is that horrendous fingers touching mouth etc she continued serving Fortunately the other lady served me If you going to eat do it out of site from other customers like at home Food strong 4 /5 Staff hygiene sorry can’t score

Heard various reviews of this chippy ranging from good to bad Well today I tried it at lunch time I had jumbo sausage chips and beans I have to say a solid 8/10 Normal chippy sausage Chips were nice and hot and very tasty Beans hot So for that meal a good start and will be back to try the fish Service quite slow Takes card and cash

This restaurant experience was really terrible. A girl with curly hair dropped my fries, then tried to put them back in the container and even took a few bites. Absolutely awful, I will never be returning there. PS: I think her name was Summer or Autumn, or something like that.

After reading the reviews, I was a bit hesitant to go, but I am so glad that I did. The fish and chips were delicious, the customer service was fantastic, and my entire family had a great time. We will definitely be returning.

Ordered large fish. Only one side was battered. Large chips was actually just a regular size. Fish sausage inadequately wrapped so by the time we reached home it was all cold. Cost was £12 and girl wouldn’t even give me a carrier bag. Very sad because we have been using this chippy for over 20 years. Shan’t go again.
