It is a bit out of the way from the city centre but definitely worth the trip (We used Uber! The restaurant has a lovely ambience and was great for a romantic meal. Would highly recommend.
Excellent family meal in one of the best restaurants in edinburgh. consistently good eating with the best seasonal Scottish products. excellent attentive staff who has worked in the opposite to other restaurants for several years in this restaurant. thanks for a nice evening.
Here with the family last night 8th february. eating was excellent as always. perfectly cooked and super delicious. they always make a point to bring visitors here. beautiful atmosphere also and great service. Thank you!
I had visited bia bistrot in 2013 and had a quite underwhelming time. after a trip to the westernmost achievements of the city, with an early breakfast visit in naihas, I stopped to give it a fresh way. I was at this venture of kevin, who had previously asked for burger meats bun. as with the previous visit it was in their lunch menu that our attention was drawn. kevin opened with the beetroot and rocket salat, while I in familiar area with her suppe of the day, cream of the vegetables. kevin followed with the gnocchi with squash while I chose the fish cake.
Excellent well cooked eating with great presentation. with excellent service by the staff. we went in and although it was reserved with many tables full, they almost sat down immediately. we had a few entrees with the goat cheese panacota a highlight. for the net the meat was perfectly cooked with a large combination of ingredients. dessert highlights her chocolate truffles, which is only a touch if great. oh, and I mentioned that the waiter who served us was very attentive, helpful and always a pleasant smile. although we were the only table below, we didn't even feel neglected or isolated from the other diners. service was always fast with a smile. I can honestly say that bia bistrot is by far one of the best French restaurants in which I was. I would go so far to say it even better than the French to the south in some. one of the hidden gems in edinburgh! love it!
