We had a wonderful experience with the tasting menu and wine pairing. It exceeded our expectations. Each of the seven courses was exquisite, with the foie gras being a standout highlight. The staff was attentive and friendly, particularly the sommelier and the charming waiter who chatted with us during the cheese course. This was truly one of the best meals we've ever had. Thank you!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by both the food and the service, which were excellent. The sommelier made some exceptional choices. The ambiance felt less formal compared to other establishments. If there is a smart casual dress code, it should be enforced consistently; it didn’t seem to be the case during our visit. If the dress code isn’t a strict guideline, it might be better to remove it altogether. The cuisine leans towards classic Michelin style rather than contemporary, which isn't a bad thing at all; the flavors were exquisite.

I had a truly special meal to celebrate my university graduation, and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience, especially the thoughtful 'extras' we received. Fresh bread was served to us, and we were treated to a delightful dessert trolley featuring four options after dinner! I highly recommend the lemon macaroon! I also loved my main course of wild turbot with cauliflower puree. The atmosphere was cozy yet still very special. The waiting staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes, offering insightful comments about the flavor combinations. Overall, I would give this evening a total of 5 stars!

I went there with my family and it's an experience that will live me long. it was relaxed eating of the highest quality. everything was so tasty and the employees treated everything very professional and friendly. we had a very good experience and definitely recommend it for group parties.

I had a wonderful dinner last night with my husband. It is one of the finest restaurants in Edinburgh and I must honestly say it is worth paying any money for such a great experience. Everything from the moment we stepped in was spectacular. Elegant décor, very pleasant ambience and the highly skilled, friendly staff made our evening very special and romantic. And above all delightful food. Must try! Honest recommendation.
