Incredible, a real 5-star experience, the food is incredible and the staff is simply great, really for somewhere where you would consider posh? Albeit I was not a fan of Malz Whisky it turns out! I'd just go for dinner again, would like to return.
An excellent taste experience in a first class restaurant. The chef's menu was a pleasure. Coupled with expertly selected dramas, it was a pleasure for whisky and food enthusiasts. The waiter was very knowledgeable and obviously well trained. A situation of 10/10 without errors and a security of consideration.
I was here a few times and every visit was a great experience. Service is friendly and attentive, courses and between treats are good pace, the food is always very well thought out and executed, and the wine list is something that many sommeliers strive to create. The pre-theater menu is in particular a great value. With today's visit, my three companions and I have quite exhausted the preselection. The rugged mackerel starter is somewhat underwhelming. A very tasty mackerel is located in the middle of the plate, but is accompanied by mackerel with fresh cucumber and a fried mackerel smugget. These are beautifully complemented by cucumber soup and sea green. Among the nets, the only fillet is cooked for perfection and surrounded by an amazing selection of flavors. Each bite of the sweet chicken also shows new nuances. Our wine pairing was the Zorah Karasi from Armenia, made from the rather obscure Areni Noir. Rich in red fruits, full-bodied and with beautiful (but not overwhelming) structure, this was a versatile and robust pairing with all our dishes (including the lamb of my friend I did not try). Other off-the-beaten track selections on the list include an excellent Turkish wine in Kayra, and selections from Greece, Israel and other unusual places to supplement some beautiful picks from the usual suspects. Even better, the prices are quite fair for a restaurant. For dessert we had the cheese plate containing four cheeses, bread, crackers, grapes and some large spreads. A beautiful way to finish another excellent food here.
Well worth the price tag with added extras and great ripples to compliment the food
