Never any inventory available and no one answers calls for orders no matter which day, so can't tell if they're really in business? Was dying to try over the summer though. I'm a big ice cream fan.

At the beginning of the summer, I attended a Virtual Yelp Event with Yelp Central Jersey and Anderson's Ice Cream where I learned how to make Thai Iced Tea Floats and played ice cream trivia.During the Final Summer Pint Sale in August, I forgot to place a pre order for pick up and was left with the not so interesting flavors Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and Raspberry Belgian Dark Chocolate Sorbet. The ice cream was a bit too sweet for me. I enjoyed the sorbet but would have preferred it without raspberry seeds in it.

I've heard of Anderson's through a fellow Yelp Elite so I was excited to see them at Smorgasburg, Jersey City so that I could try them out! The service was very friendly and efficient and the menu had some great options. One option that I would opt-in for next time was a trio that allowed you to try three amazing flavors at once for a set price. Since I was pretty full from all the other food I had at Smorgasburg, I went with a single scoop of the Ube ice cream for $5. The beautiful lilac-colored ice cream came with shredded coconut on top, creating a photogenic presentation. The ice cream was DELICIOUS and left me addicted to the flavor. The ube was sweet mellow and was the perfect dessert to end the day with. My sister ordered the Tiramisu and that was also an excellent flavor. If you come across Anderson's Ice Cream, definitely give them a try because you will not regret it! Next time, I definitely need to take a pint back home with me!!
