Bistro Praha - Edmonton

My visit to Bistro Praha was quite pleasant. The fare was simple but cooked excellently. I had the schnitzel cordon bleu. The schnitzel was crispy on the outside and gooey with cheese on the inside, I had the potato salad on the side. The salad was nice but sadly there was only one small scoop of it. Overall it was a decent meal that didn't break the bank.

We've eaten at this bistro many, many times. It's remarkable how they achieve such consistent quality.

Been going to Bistro Praha since my university days in the 1970's and it is consistently excellent. menu is limited but what they do, they do well. Don't live in Edmonton so only get to visit a couple of time a year, always have the goose/duck because no body does it better. Generous portions cooked correctly. Sauerkraut soup and goulash are also excellent.

We went to Bistro Praha based on all the excellent reviews, and were a bit disappointed. The waiter wasn't in the best mood, which happens sometimes, I guess. The food quality is excellent, but the portions quite small for the price. Overall the experience was okay, but there are other restaurants we will return to other than this one.

We enjoyed a great dinner at this Czech restaurant. The food and service are great and the atmosphere is also very unique. We would come back when back in Edmonton, for sure!
