Buco Pizzeria Vino Windermere

We visited Friday night. we thought it would be more business bur found it not too bad, but the poor level was quite high for a restaurant with 50% capacity. service and eating were both very good, personal was attentive and ready with suggestions for gluten-free options including dessert.

Our server was friendly and did an amazing job! I liked that the Manager came over to ensure that everything was satisfactory for us. To me, having a Manager just come over to say hi, how's everything going is perfect. Shows that they care about their restaurant. We started out with the 3 trio of appetizers Italian sausage, meatball and bruschetta all appetizers were tasty not sure what the sauce for the sausage was but it added to the flavour! Followed by a Caesar salad that we shared which was made from scratch. Our main course was the lasagna and carni pizza. If you like lasagna then you have to try Buco's if you are not a fan of lasagna then you will be. Best Lasagna that we have ever had. The pizza is baked using a pizza oven made well. The wine list also has a nice variety.

We were there Halloween night, Monday and we took a bottle of Australian red to take advantage of Monday's free corkage. Brilliant ! Halloween night and no tricks, only treats. Food was excellent short ribs and meat lovers pizza served promptly and with flair. Quiet evening and ambiance was great. Well be baaaaack !
