Contribuisci feedbackThis is one of the best Chinese Hot pot in Edmonton . It's located on the Calgary trail. On the outside this restaurant is not impressive and very unassuming . Although the parking area is massive and it's always packed to the full. That should give you an idea how popular this restaurant is. The dress code is casual. The service is good and the staff are very helpful as this kind of restaurant experience is unique.Cost wise I think it's worth the price as we shell out so much for way Smaller portions elsewhere. The meat, fish, veggies are all fresh. The dessert served is very delicious too. The main soup broth has many varieties to choose from with your own level of spice. The buffet is very tasty and there is a lot of choice.I would surely recommend this place. It was very clean. The ambiance was very pleasant. This restaurant is huge and seperate sections are available for personal parties. This place is well managed and the service was very good. Its worth visiting , experiencing and enjoying Hot pot Chinese cuisine.
Visit: April 2023I got the 5 item meal (Tom yum soup, beef, lamb, chicken, spinach, handpulled noodles), which costed $19.95. I felt very satisfied after having these items. There was a good amount for the price. The waiter/waitresses bring you the soup and the items. They also came around a couple of times to fill up our water and top-off our soups. The soup selection is quite large, and the sauce area has a lot of options to choose from and build a sauce with which is great. As well, there are a lot of options to choose from for items, so I feel like there's something for everyoneThe induction stove top has a couple of heating options, but I have to figure out the options since I cannot read Chinese. The staff can provide information on this too.Overall, love this spot for hotpot!Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetables to choose fromParking: Lots of parking spaces
We went there for a combo on Friday night. The food was very slow, we waited 30 minutes for the broth. But it’s okay. After eating for a while, the waitress with pony tail and glasses came and asked if we are almost done. She told us we have been eating for 2 hours, and we are only having the combo. While there is a long lineup for all you can eat. I looked at my phone and realized we have only been eating for one hour. Terrible service. Never going back. Not worth the money.
Drove all the way to Edmonton just to try this very popular hot pot restaurant. The place was packed even at 5PM. I’m glad we got there early enough so we didn’t have to wait long to be seated. About 30 minutes later, the wait to get a table got even crazier. There were a few options of broth and sliced meat was ordered through their servers. There were a lot items on the buffet tables. Everything looked so fresh and of good quality but it was a little overwhelming for me because the self-serve stations were packed with diners the entire time that I felt I wasted a lot of time just to get through the line.Cooked items were plentiful too but most are just fillers. The highlight of the buffet stations was the selections of seafood, especially the shrimps! The 2 hour limit was strictly enforced as we were reminded a few times by the servers that our time was up. A little annoying but I guess they have to do that since there were plenty of people waiting to be seated. If you want to have great conversion with your family and friends while dining, this might not be a good place for you.The entire experience was just ok because you have to get up a few times to get most of the food and it was a little inconvenience in my opinion. The servers were so busy so they were a little hard to find to order more sliced meat. However, I’m glad I tried this place just to see what the fuss is all about.I still prefer the other hot pot place nearby as the experience there is always great and the service is a lot more personal and friendlier. More importantly, the food is always brought right to your table so the dining experience is always seamless.
One of th more extravagant and higher-end hot pot establishments in South Edmonton. This place takes AYCE hot pot to a whole new level!Aside from meats and certain appetizers that are ordered off a paper menu, the remaining items are self-picked from a buffet bar. This allows you to select your own quantity, variety, and quality of your meal! The only downside are the cooked/hot appetizers, as those items could have been sitting there for a while.Overall, a highly sought-after hot pot establishment, as the restaurant is usually packed full and has a long wait time to be seated.A must-try!
