Fife N' Dekel - Edmonton

Stopped by here through the lunch hour and was amazed at the lineup of people waiting to be served. Obviously this says much for the fare being offered here. Service was brisk and efficient and I had my rhubarb/strawberry pies to go in a matter of minutes. Although rhubarb was their "pie of the month feature", all of their choices are excellent. A must place to visit, if you haven't tried It!

This place has the great reputation it does for very good (and tasty!!) reasons. I love being able to watch my sandwich being made and my soup being ladled out and selecting that piece of pie that caused my mouth to water....... We were not disappointed!!! Delicious!!

Just stopped for a quick coffee and pie, based on a recommendation from a friend... & they did not disappoint. The pies were amazing! We'll be back next time we are in Edmonton.

We were on the hunt for a good bowl of soup and we were not disappointed at all in finding this place. The soup is made fresh and they have a couple of different selections daily. The sandwich was also made from very fresh ingredients including the bread selection some of which is baked fresh. The sandwich is so large that two people can share one sandwich. Of course ending your meal with a piece of pie is a must. There must be at least 15 different choices of pie. If you ask for whipped cream, it is real cream! And my mom says absolutely one piece of apple pie feeds two people.

I have been to Fife N' Dekel a number of times. Both outlets in Edmonton are located close to business districts, but well worth the journey. They are primarily a breakfast and lunch restaurant, closing at 4:30PM each day. Their food is incredibly fresh and very nutritious. Many people make a point of going there to enjoy their amazing sandwiches. These can be served on a number of different breads. They have numerous fillings to choose from including egg, tuna and chicken salads (my personal favourite). The restaurant also serves delicious pies. I believe they are made in store each day and are always very fresh. Although not a formal eatery, it would make a great place to go for an afternoon coffee (and a slice of pie). I will definitely continue to visit this great restaurant! AAA+++
