Fifendekel - Edmonton

I love the turkey sandwich from here. It’s so good and fresh. I added the pasta salad today and it was top notch as well. No pie today but I have never had a bad pie from here.

Excellent soup and sandwich. The sunflower bread is made there and is delicious! The potato bacon soup was also amazing!

Fifendekel has been around for a long time and has been pretty reliable for a decent soup and sandwich lunch. They USED to be known for great pie no longer. I had a slice of blueberry and it was a gelatinous glob of blue...syrup. Barely an intact blueberry in sight! While I cannot say for certain what they use for filling but it reminded me of the canned fruit pies you used to get in a substandard diner.

These sandwiches are always made with great bread, fresh ingredients and kind staff. This is the best place for lunch around.

Had heard great things about the food here and was excited to try it. Nothing fancy, but was definitely homemade and delicious. The staff did not seem happy with their jobs, couldn't even smile at the customers. It was a busy place, but customer service...could become a problem.
