Gama Cafe is one of the few places that you can with intimate seating and delicious desserts. So far, I've only ever come here for the desserts although I am aware of the other main course menu items. The staff are cute and very friendly. My only complaint is that even though the seats look plushy, they're actually not that comfortable. Lol. Well worth a stop!!!
I ordered the Squash Risotto and it was delicious. There was mushrooms, green beans, and baby corn cooked with a creamy cheese and squash sauce. It was seasoned well enough and had a strong parmesan cheese flavour. I had a couple bites of the Strawberry Hill and it was also tasty. Not too sweet of a dessert to finish off my risotto. 1/1<br/ <br/ Service was good. There was only one waiter and he was running all over the place which took him a while to get to us. However, not a major concern. 0.5/1<br/ <br/ Decor was unique in itself. It had a maid theme for the lack of a better word... 0.5/1<br/ <br/ Price was fair. 1/1<br/ <br/ I would come back if I have a chance but definitely trying out other cafes first. 0.5/1
I absolutely adore this café in Edmonton. The interior design is clean, classy, and elegant, making it one of my favorite places to relax during the day. They serve fantastic hot and cold drinks, with their Potted Green Tea Cap (hot) being a standout item. The basil pesto dish is incredibly delicious and a must-try. And don't even get me started on the desserts - the Melting Gold custard cakes and Strawberry Castles are simply irresistible!
We ordered a winter melon salt cap, a rose salt cap, and two orders of custard pancakes. The pancakes didn't taste as delicious as we remembered from our previous visits at a different location. The winter melon drink, usually one of our favorites, was overly sweet. The relatively high rating is based solely on the entertainment provided by the server and his friendly demeanor. To be honest, you could probably find better prices and snacks at a bubble tea shop.
I have discovered a new favorite restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, the ambiance is wonderful, and the food is incredible. My favorite dish is the Fruit Party waffles, which are not only artistic and relatively healthy, but also presented like a piece of artwork on the plate. I have visited this restaurant about 8 times in the last month, and my only criticism is that the service can be a bit questionable. Some of the waitresses have limited English-speaking skills, leading to a few issues with orders. Additionally, I have never received a bill after my meal, despite waiting for quite some time. It seems that they expect customers to simply come to the front and pay when they are ready to leave. Despite these minor shortcomings, overall, it is a really cool restaurant.
