Holiday Inn Express Suites Edmonton South, An Ihg

Very nice hotel. Staff is awesome. Breakfast is excellent they even have a fancy pancakes maker!! Stayed for 3 days. Pet friendly. Room a little outdated but very very clean. Will be back for sure. Moved to this hotel after having a bad experience at the Best Western Cedar park

Stayed here on my trip to Edmonton. It’s a great hotel. Area around is pretty safe. Without getting too much into details, I was able to determine that right at check in time.The rooms were clean and comfy. The breakfast was good. I appreciated the 24/7 coffee. It’s close to South Edmonton Commons. The area itself isn’t the most friendly to pedestrians but it’s not too bad. There’s sidewalks and crosswalks at least to get to South Edmonton Commons.It’s not too far from the airport too. Its by major highways that can connect you to the downtown, WEM, and many other sight seeing areas.

Front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant. I forgot to take his name. There are big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, not the mini stuff.

Rooms were decent and service was ok, however the pool is in desperate need of repair and serviced. They put some much chlorine in the pool it burns your eyes and the ventilation is horrible. The pool is slimy to touch at rhe bottom and the water looks green. I wouldn't advise to swim in the pool.

As for the rooms, they were clean, well-stocked, and provided plenty of information about local attractions and available services. There were also thoughtful signs letting us know that help was available if we forgot essentials like a toothbrush. Regarding food and drinks, the complimentary breakfast featured a vast selection that impressed even my picky eater son—he consumed more in one breakfast than he usually does in an entire week! The variety was simply overwhelming!
