Best montreal smoked meat sandwich in town! fantastic! love her burger too, but I would strongly suggest that they turn the baseball pact into an American smash style. it is absolutely delicious, but very demanding to eat.
Was very excited to eat here because of all photos on google the delicious looking food, but was very disappointed! my friend and I went to our lunch breaks and the trip is 4 minutes away from the work. we went in, there is a sign that reads please wait to take a place so we waited. the place looked nice and had an es tab and a lounge area, but I read that it was also 18. a change this year, I think. neither parts were full, but we stood and waited for ten minutes. in the ten minutes of waiting we were not even greeted. a man went by and said that she will be with you without eye contact, or hey people, I'm sorry about waiting! Someone will be right across a dame that served on the dining room side, has made eye contact with me twice, but still did not pass or gave any gestures we will be helped at any time soon. another dame came from the lounge side to put us and take our drink order. we had only one hour, so we asked if we could place our food orders immediately, and I'm going to show this here that I worked in the restaurant industry since I was 13 in all areas, so I'm very patient and friendly with all staff and tipp very well. the staff did not seem very friendly to us. they were not rude. but no smile, very little communication and was not very attentive. again I understand that places can be occupied, people have bad days etc. but they were much personal and it was not packed. we waited for our food until we had to go because our lunch break was close to the end. I had to turn to the bar to get someone the attention to go our command and 2 server went right past. I brought my food to work and eat it on my writing. very sad that I do not get to enjoy my food while it was hot and not impressed by the service we received. No matter, I've left a tip because I'm trying not to leave others my day and let me be annoyed enough to mistreat someone. I will not return to this place, although I am sure that this would fire sandwich and the pommes if I had to eat them warm. Finally, I've been an indigenous women for a long time to notice when others are served on quite different ways.
Eating was okay, nothing special and quite mediocre serving for the price. has the atmosphere of a family restaurant despite the great 18 only in front. we had a big group and eating came really delayed I got my meal before my sister even got her petty and hathbrowns teller.
This review is a bit overdue and not just based on one visit. I've been 3 times now with a friend, and it's become our breakfast place to go to when we want to have a nice visit and a decent breakfast. From the outside and the name, the Refinery Grill looks like it would be a more upscale steakhouse type of restaurant. But looks can be deceiving! It's more of a casual family diner type. The first time I I was there, I had the french toast grill which comes with 2 big pieces of french toast, eggs, hashbrowns and sausage for $14.95. Everything on the plate was delicious! The hashbrowns are real potatoes topped with dill. I do wish they were a bit crispier, but I'm sure I could ask for that the next time I go. My 2nd visit, I tried the blueberry pancakes and sausage for $16.25. First off, the pancakes were HUGE! The biggest pancakes I've had in the city so far. When they first brought out the pancakes, they looked great, but they hadn't been cooked through properly. The server took them back and brought out fresh ones cooked perfectly! They had fresh blueberries in them, and not just a few, they were loaded with blueberries! Would definitely have them again! On my last visit there, I tried the Traditional Benny, but switched out the ham for crispy bacon. Again, it was a huge portion and didn't disappoint! The hollandaise sauce wasn't the best I've had, but it was still tasty. The service is always amazing! Super friendly staff, clean restaurant and it's nice to be at a place where they don't rush you out. We'll definitely be back!
