Ricky's All Day Grill - Edmonton

Slightly hungover we came in on our walk to WEM. The lady who seated us was lovely and attentive, the lady who delivered it was fabulous, really authentic and the chap who checked on us was also great. Fabulous staff.I had an order of poutine (my only one in Canada, must fix that next time) and some wings and I loved all of it. My husband had waffles and chicken, my friend had eggs and we had beers with our breakfasts. It was great. We'll definitely be back.

Had a quick breakfast. Good large portions, very friendly and attentive service. Went to the west end location on 170th street. Will return.

While staying in the hotel I can down to eat and fellas beside me had steak. Smelled great so I took a chance with low expectations. Don't get me wrong its not Mortons but meal came and was better than good, would rival many steaks Ive ordered at higher end restaurants. The price was awesome. Steak, shrimp, salad potato under 30 bucks and was real good. Don't let the name fool you this place has real good food.

While this may not fall in the category of fine dining the food and service is always good plus the staff are friendly and make you feel welcome - they never rush you. There's lots of free parking, they have regular change ups in their specials and popular items for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

While on a 2 week vacation in Edmonton we tried a bunch of different breakfast places, by far Ricky's was the best. The pancakes are awesome, coffee always topped off, family freindly, cozy and good value.Portions are a good size and I would recommend the chorizo added as a side dish to any breakfast as it was delicious!
