I didn't try too much of the hot ones, but the two I really found out. the meatballs were shaken in a tomato reduction and the sambucca garnels were for to die. in any case recommend. the alcohol content of the equation was not less satisfactory. although tapavino has no taps, its selection of canned and bottle beer with a very good variety of styles is impressive. for those who like their wine, there is also a good choice. the prices were in harmony with a typical upper end restaurant, but not excessively high. but the cocktails! jean francois forgive me if I have the name wrong, is an absolute master of the unusual mixed drinks craftsman cocktail. all of its ingredients, with the exception of cola or other fountain drinks, are handmade. all cloves made from dried grapefruit or gurke handmade. he even makes his own advertiser and tonic water. I was the recipient of 7 of these original creations, all from pretty sweet to quite hearty. and yes, I took one after home after that! if they 're interested in a light tapas style grinding time and drinks after the theater, hockey game, or show, I recommend this place warm. the only disadvantage is that parking on a premium is not much around. on the other hand, if they decide to get into the cocktails, no bad idea to taxi or be over.
The service at Tapavino is truly personal and offers a unique experience. When we visited for the first time, the food was absolutely unforgettable, especially the meatballs, which were my favorite. The chef had a great conversation with my father-in-law about authentic Spanish cuisine, and we were invited back so he could prepare paella just for us. We returned last night, and sure enough, the chef made us paella despite the restaurant being completely full. Before the dish was finished, I was invited into the kitchen to take some pictures of the final touches, which included smoking the dish for added flavor. You could really see the chef's passion for his craft! When we tried the paella, it was simply incredible—so flavorful and rich. I’ve never tasted anything like it in my life. My father-in-law, who has visited Spain multiple times, even said it was better than what he had there. I'm so glad we had the chance to visit, as I can't wait to go back for lunch!
This charming little restaurant offers excellent food and drinks. The service is top-notch, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is delightful.
Such a wonderful experience. A beautiful little place, perfect for couples or an intimate get together. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. My server definitely knew the menu of wine and food inside out! Terrific !
