This restaurant is fantastic! The food is out of this world, with a friendly and cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. I love this place!
The Loch Croistean Coffee Shop in Scotland was a pleasant surprise for us. It may not be as sensational as other restaurants in the country, but it has a subtle charm that leaves a lasting impression. The restaurant, located in a remote location, offers more than just coffee - it's a full-blown dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff, especially Marianne, are professional and friendly. We visited on a Saturday night and enjoyed a delicious 4-course dinner. The appetizers and desserts were particularly outstanding, while the main dishes were average to good. The pricing is very reasonable and it's worth noting that the café does not have a license for alcohol. A cherry on top of our experience was spotting a group of seals nearby after leaving the restaurant. We were truly grateful for all these unexpected delights.
We had a delicious dinner here on Saturday night. the menu in this night was buffet style and was really good, delicious home cooked farewell. great service from the owner. there is no alcohol license, but they are welcome to bring their own.
The food and cafe are both special. The food is fresh, simple and very tasty. The cafe is a former school room. When we called we were greeted in the car park by an affectionate, courteous spaniel. A little later several children, relations of the owner, tumbled into the room and with their chatter enhanced everything. The visit to the cafe was a highlight of our stay the Isle of Harris.
