Koze Teppen - El Cajon

Hospitality could use a lot of improvement since our party was excited to visit this restaurant for the first time and were greeted with no smiles. We also waited for our appointed reserved seating for another 15min and while seating at entrance bar, the guy bartender (maybe supervisor) could've shown Hospitality as well. Food was excellent though. Our habashi cook was awesome and very entertaining. Servers were great, very attentive. I would think with our $200 bill, Koze could've made us feel like VIP customers. Hopefully next time, we get complimentary items for waiting.

Best birthday ever!!! thanks to all people in there but special thanks to JAY!!!! He made us feel so important. Jay is a very sweet, kind and wonderful person, second time sharing important days with family and many more to come to share at Koze but ONLY with Jay!!

For some of us, this was a first time experience. Overall, the experience was great. Our at the grill experience was super. Thoroughly entertained and the food was super and plentiful. I would have rated 5-stars except for the hostess. She gave us the impression that we were bothering her when we came in the door. I'll chalk it up to her having a bad day that day

Everything tasted great the staff were all friendly and funny! We had a blast here. The sushi was soo good!

Had an absolutely great time. Amazing service from Zelda, and an amazing show and meal from Jay our chef. I?d definitely recommend asking for Jay, he definitely knows what he doing. Atmosphere, service, and food, all A+ quality.
