Griffin - El Dorado

I love going to Griffin. It is a very beautiful place for a romantic date, a family dinner or just a dinner with friends or colleagues. The food is excellent and the live music is always great entertainment. It is a very nice mood for eating or drinking with friends. They have a wide range of wine, beer and spirits. This place is a must when you visit El Dorado.

Wow! Came in the city of Texas and this restaurant had a lasting impression on me. The food service was impeccable! The history of the building and the tour we were taken over by the manager was amazing. Plan on a trip back for the music festival. I recommend everything on their menu with emphasis on their chicken waffles... hands down the best I ever had!

It's nice for El Dorado. We had the Po-Boy and the Portobello mushroom dish. The mushroom dish was great! Great music on Thursday or special events, good selection of drinks, but I would expect better for the price.

This place has a pretty decent menu that changes with the season and the local produce/food. Some of the items are more expensive than I like, but most are fairly priced. The charcuterie board was laughable and I won’t order it again, but otherwise I have enjoyed everything I ordered. Great place for live entertainment like music or comedy routines. Always something going on and something for everyone. Have enjoyed my times there for the most part. Not a perfect place but I appreciate what they are trying to do. The photo I am including is of their spicy chicken sandwich with slaw and house made pickles. It was pretty good. It’s not somewhere that I frequent, but it’s nice to have something like this in town.
