La Chancla Mexican Food - El Paso

I went to La Chancla on Pebble Hills today for take out and when I got there a lady was preparing my gorditas and was not wearing gloves, she had her hands all over the gorditas and meat. I asked the cashier for someone to make me different gorditas but that they had to use gloves and the cashier looked at me like I was asking for something weird. They have a box of gloves right up front but none of the 4 cooks were wearing them. I will not be back.

If u order the Chile Colorado con Carne burrito. It should be renamed to Papa Burrito. It was a joke. I just read the review by an employee that said they make fun of customers, well let me make fun of them. The male employee who took the order has the personality of a door knob. Don?t this people realize without customers a business needs to close. Why bother opening.

Asked for the caldo de res n flautas and I got a small bowl with a chicken nuggets worth of meat when I asked for more meat I was told no. Then I asked for a refund and I was told no. I asked for the manager and of course was nowhere to be found and apparently doesn't own a cell phone . So we didn't get a refund.

Terrible customer service and the food is just meh. I decided to give this restaurant a second chance today and boy was I dissatisfied. I left the place after paying for two meals because the mole plate my mom got was dry and bitter, we asked for it to be replaced by just a soup of the day and the guy up in the register refused instead he offered to add water to the mole. Left two untouched plates and I hope the owner makes changes before it is too late for the success of the business.

Dirty chairs, soggy fries, burnt tostada chips, and the worst customer service possible. Thanks for bringing us the room temp water with no ice.
