Los Colegas - El Paso

Not sure where a three star comes from. The young ladys at the bar, Arline and Noeme were so helpful. My menu was all in Spanish and Arline smiled and found one in English. I wanted to try something I had never had and she suggested the octopus. It came grilled with a spicy sauce, salad, mashed potatoes and rice. It was five star awesome. And the fish soup before the meal was I want a gallon to take home good. I had a great meal in a great atmosphere. Will be coming back here.

I went to lunch here and enjoyed the upbeat restaurant and bar. Be prepared to use your Spanish while ordering. The service was quick and the meal delicious. I recommend the Red Snapper plate with mashed potatoes and rice.

We ordered take out from Los Colegas, two orders of Ensenada tacos. We were dissapointed to see only one (1) shrimp per tortilla not the three (3) you get when you dine in. l guess they figured they can get away with it since it is take out.

This was the second time at this site with a large family group. We were seated within a reasonable amount of wait time considering that we we did not make reservations for a group of 10. Our server was a novice, but he was nice. Constantly had to flag him down for refills on drinks. Staff in a collared blue shirt cleared some of the piled up dishes on our table as people began to finish their meals, which were a lot. However, not all dishes were removed by the staff in blue shirts (which looked like managers). He needed help with such a large group. FOOD yummy! My fried fish was tasty as was the beans and rice that came along with it. The seasoning on the fried fish was right on. Three of us ordered it, and we all three really enjoyed our meal. The choco flan was delicious! The texture just right with the right amount of chocolate flavor.

I love coming to this place! It never disappoints. I've been coming here for three Mondays in a row now and I love the food and the service! The hostess is also very nice to me. I can't wait to come back again next Monday since that's the day I'm allowed to cheat on my diet lol Gracias chicas por El servicio super suave arre
