If I could choose to pick no stars for this business I would. Even negative stars. It 's not for the lack of quality of cake. Who doesn 't love bundt cakes? It is for the dishonest business practices of this owner.A cake was ordered for my daughter in law in August for her birthday by her husband, an Army soldier who is deployed. The cake did NOT arrive on the day it was suppose to. When the store was contacted, they arranged for a delivery a day late. After repeated conversations with the owner, Jami, he initially apologized and indicated he would compensate us for the cake. He declined to send a gift card in the mail, but requested we pick it up the following day. When I went to the store the following day, the gift card was not ready and staff knew nothing of it. I requested the owner call me, which he did and assured me that the card would be available the next day. I went back the next day, was given the card and receipt with an acknowledged value of 53$ for the cake and delivery. It took 3 days and two trips to seemingly resolve this problem.This started on 22 August and today my daughter in law presented with her gift card to purchase a cake. She was told the gift card was only worth 15$ which was compensation for the delayed delivery NOT the cake.I learned of this and called the store. The owner would not let me talk, interrupted me repeatedly and dare to say to me, don 't talk to me like that woman !Nothing Bundt Cakes sell themselves. It 's a formulaic recipe. What 's not to like. If you want one in El Paso, take the time to go to the other store. The owner of this store is a liar, his employees are not well trained, he is rude he does NOT believe the most basic rule that customer is king and he apparently is not concerned about supporting a deployed soldier 's family.You can get a tasty cake at the other franchise.
Absolute worst customer service in this store. The owner is condescending, rude, and most importantly a liar. We ordered a birthday cake that DID NOT arrive the day it was supposed to. We didn't even receive a call from the store to let us know the cake we paid 53 dollars for was not coming. It ended up arriving a day late, what's the use then? We contact the store and they make us come pick up a gift card. We show up, gift card does not exist and the employees know nothing of it. We show up the next day and we are assured the gift card is for 53 dollars to make up for the order we didn't receive. I show up today to buy a cake and the gift card is worth only 15 dlls. This store owner is horrible at speaking to customers, rude, sexist, condescending. Also, he blames his employees for his mistakes as he told us his employees were to blame for the cake not showing up. Having now interacted with this man multiple times over the past month in hopes of resolving this issue, I can assure he's the kind of person to throw someone else under the bus to save his own butt. Save yourself the trouble and go to a different bakery.
Great cakes! Unfortunately, was told some inaccurate information. I was talked into purchasing a reusable bag a few months ago. When used, they gave me a free bundtlet with purchase of 3. I was told I could bring that bag in to any location and they would honor it with no expiration. However, when I went to a different location, I was told that the promotion was no longer valid. When I called this location though, I was told that it still was. Just frustrated at the false information.
Cakes are so moist and yummie. The icing is really good too. Highly recommend ?
