I visit this restaurant often. The service is consistently excellent and the food is always good. However, there have been a few instances where we encountered rude employees. One time, a hostess was rude to us, possibly because we arrived 20 minutes before closing. My family and I had been wanting to go to Pelicans for awhile. I had never been before so I did not know what to expect. I love seafood and all I wanted for my birthday was a good seafood dinner. My family and I decided to celebrate at Pelicans. We drove almost 20 minutes to arrive at this oasis in the middle of the Chihuahuan desert. It was a Monday night, semi busy, and they willingly and cheerfully accommodated our party of 12. We did make reservations the day before.
