Vietnamese Food To Go - El Paso

Food is soooooooo bad. Banh mi thit nuong they used curry meat seasoning. Banh mi with no pickled carrots radish. Coffee is too sweet. Prices are high. Beware people!

The prices listed on the website are not current; they seem to have doubled. I recently spent $30 on two drinks and two orders of egg rolls. It seems that the lack of available products is forcing the restaurant to raise prices after being closed for 10 months. While I understand the need for this, as a consumer who has also been affected, I find it disappointing to support local businesses only to encounter significantly higher prices. I chose not to request a refund, but I will not be returning to this restaurant.

There was only one person working at the restaurant, taking orders and preparing the food. I ordered the pork with rice and an egg to go. They tried to charge me more than the price listed on the paper menu, but when I pointed it out, they said it was the price when they first opened and discounted $2. When I got home and tried the pork, it was hard, smelled bad, and seemed undercooked with no flavor. The pieces were small and it seemed like it had been sitting out all day and reheated. The prices were higher than other Vietnamese restaurants, with 3 spring rolls costing $8. Overall, the food was mediocre in taste and quality.

If you have not visited this restaurant yet, you definitely should. The owner is extremely friendly and the food is excellent. We will certainly return for a date night in the future.

I got Special house Pho soup combo. The owner/chef stopped me before I added sriracha or toppings to it, he ask me to taste the Original flavor first without the toppings, he explained me that takes a Huge effort to make the broth, it takes him 16 hours tomake it from scratch, no additives, the real soup. So I did and I must say it does taste good, somehow it taste like homemade, i loved that the chef shows how much proud he is about it. When I finished he was very pleased and vowed to me because I reallydid like it, noodles are not undercooked or soggy. The place is very small and cozy, the family and the kids are playing around,see the kids turtle box on the side? I didnt mind, . Owner is fighting hard to establish this new small place, only thing is Inotice is each dish is 2 dlls more expensive than most vietnamese places I know.
