However, I believe it is essential for the owners to be aware of the conduct of their employees and how it reflects on the business. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but I was told that none was available. I wanted to address my concerns to someone in a higher position who could understand and implement changes. The handling of our situation was inappropriate for a business of this caliber.
The food was excellent. Service was good until we wanted to pay. Dessert wasn't suggested by server and we probably would have indulged but it was too late by the time we had the hostess get our server to pay.
Mesa Street Grill needs to restock the humidor and get the live entertainment back to the patio on weekends. I loved sitting on the patio with a cigar and a glass of scotch listening to the small band play. The menu used to have a better mix of reasonably priced and upscale entrees as well. It's harder to casually dine when everything on the menu is upscale and high priced.
Claudio was amazing! He treated us very well and made our honeymoon something even more special with his kindness. We thank you so very much!
I am very disappointed this place is not worth what it costs. The drinks were served wrong twice. My pasta with lobster had a hair in it. They immediately changed it for another one but the second one was not cooked well and they didn't put lobster in it. Finally, they didn't want to serve my husband a second soda. Very bad experience ?
