Crowne Plaza Newark Airport, An Ihg

Our family of 3 stayed at this hotel during a overnight layover. Everything went smoothly enough until the next morning when we woke up to find 3 cockroaches crawling around our room #318); 2 ran away quickly, but 1 hung around our room door the whole time we were packing up, so I took pictures of it. Spoke to management 5 times and they refused to take any responsibility.

We had a good short stay. Not our first time. I find the place perfect after a 10+h transatlantic flight in the economy class. If you connect here for another flight or you must drive from here anywhere after your flight, a rest overnight here is perfect.Rooms: The room with two queen beds is perfect for a family with kids.

Everything was great, staff was incredibly gracious and friendly. 3rd shift want especially communicative, but that 's third shift at just about every hotel. 4 stars on the room ONLY because while the air conditioning worked well at cooling it didn 't dry the air, so everything was damp. (Before you ask, I did turn the ac to dry mode but that didn 't help) A seriously manageable problem, however. All in all a nice place. Would definitely return.

Decent Rooms, good staff, very good airport shuttle drivers, amazing food in the restaurant and the two guys there were simply the best, they were very patient even when the restaurant was full. Food was simply great, good portion. Location is the best if you want stay near airport. Our shuttle drivers both ways were very polite, helpful when asked for directions in the aiport.Rooms: Decent rooms and the room service was good with nice peopleSafety: The entry is guarded, since the parking space is shared between a park fly option which is good consdiered we have a gated hotel parkingFood drinks: Cant say more! The pics speaks for itself. If you dont want the breakfast buffet, they have very good options nearby and the lady here is always cheerful and helpful

Had to stay while waiting for a new flight. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was good, room was nice and clean. Beds are hotel beds. Overall a good experience at a rough time. They made our experience better.
