Wilman's Deli - Elizabeth

This is a charming mom-and-pop bodega located right on Elizabeth Avenue. I had heard great things about their sandwiches, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a classic ham and cheese with all the fixings. The prices were reasonable, though I've seen better in Elizabeth. My sandwich cost $4, which I thought was fair. The guy making the sandwich was friendly and welcoming, but I did have an issue with the woman behind the counter. She made me feel a bit embarrassed when I couldn’t locate a specific drink in their fridge. She pointed it out sarcastically, saying, "Oh look, right there, GENIUS, it's right by your nose." I felt quite uncomfortable after that. I ended up eating the sandwich with some chips. The deli has a lot of appealing subs on the menu and other quick bite options. I gave it a rating of 3 stars because while the sandwich was good, the woman's unfriendliness put a damper on the experience.
