Red Horse Diner - Ellensburg

What a fabulous diner steeped in history! The food was delicious, and our server, Nevaeh, was fantastic. The cook also greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm. We can't wait to return. The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, and the shakes are absolutely to die for!

The atmosphere is fun, and there are plenty of distractions to keep you entertained when it's busy. It took about 30 minutes for our burgers and fries to be prepared, but it was definitely worth the wait.

This café is absolutely fantastic! It's places like this that make me reluctant to give five-star reviews to anywhere that’s just average. I visited on July 4th, as it was the only open spot in the area. My server was incredibly sweet, and my food arrived almost immediately. I ordered a bacon, cheese, and veggie omelette, and it was superb. Unlike most diners of this type, they don’t use pre-cooked, packaged bacon; instead, they serve fresh, whole strips of bacon in the omelette. The cheddar cheese on top was also excellent—none of that cheap, chalky stuff here. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It truly is the best café along the I-90 in Washington!

It took 3 hours to get our food, we ended up bussing our own water to and from the table due to never seeing our server and we were outside in the hot sun. (The server was very nice and apologetic) but waiting 3 hours for cheap diner food on a Monday at noon is ridiculous, the waiter admitted to a mistake and we were told we were getting a 25% discount. We get the bill and notice our bills are only discounted 3-5 dollars off the total bill. Than we were informed our food was only 25% off. Than we waited another 45 minutes for the checks after our cards were taken. In total we were here for over 4 hours and only got our food the last 40 minutes of being there. And the manage was incredibly disrespectful when we came forward with our discomforts. Will never go back would never waist my time like that again.
