Mountain View Italian Kitchen

1st time was absolutely amazing! But if I wanted to be yelled at across the restaurant by waitstaff that got our order wrong. I could've gone to McDonald's....

I picked up a pizza from this restaurant for the first time, and I have to say, the staff made me feel unwelcome. When I mentioned it was my first visit, they gave us strange looks, as if we didn't belong there. I had hoped to try their spaghetti next, but now I'm not interested in returning. They didn't say a word; they just stared at us uncomfortably. It seems like they only cater to their regular customers. My parents live nearby, so I thought they'd appreciate the business, but I was disappointed.

My dad asked me to share this review for him: I’d rate the food 4 stars, but the service deserves less than 1 star. I’ve traveled to 49 states and 11 countries, dining in restaurants around the world, and I’ve never encountered a waitress/owner who bullies her customers while expecting generous tips. When I requested a straw—since she hadn’t provided one initially—she angrily tossed a handful onto the table. She treated the silverware the same way! This behavior isn't just a one-time incident. I've been meeting my friends there monthly, about 15 of us, for several years, and the situation has only worsened. I will never return to that place again. I genuinely hope this woman seeks some kind of mental health support. - Phil Bishop

This charming, family-owned restaurant was an excellent choice for dinner the other night. My boyfriend and I were immediately impressed by the quality of the food and the service. Our server truly went above and beyond to ensure that everything we ordered was perfect. Although I don’t live in the area, I know exactly where I’ll want to go for Italian next time I visit! As soon as I entered the restaurant, the woman serving us was rude to my husband. I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience was so negative that I feel compelled to share it. I can’t believe this place is still in business. I frequently order takeout here, but this was my first and last time dining in. When I asked my server if they had a beer menu, she responded dismissively, pointing to the menu I had just been looking at and holding it up in front of me. It was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I was so upset that I didn’t even eat my food. This was definitely the worst dining experience I’ve ever encountered!
