I got the garlic butter and lemon pepper. It was good but a tad salty. Their potatoes are huge. I got their green mussels, shrimp with the heads on, and clam but they forgot to give me the clam so now I have to go back and order something else so I get comped. The staff is nice and looks possibly family owned. I’ll come back but maybe just choose one sauce instead of a combo sauce. P.S. they have a great family combo meal I wish they mentioned to me instead of me ordering a la carte.
They should announce that they are under new management. Drove in from Elmhurst specifically for corn pone fried oysters no longer on the menu. Mostly take out but dined in 5 tables. Servers chef were courteous. Had fried fish shrimp. Delicious large portions. Sweet potato fries were really fresh the best I've had. Their assortment of fried rice iced teas looked yummy. Will return. Clean. 4 stars for the surprise in menu.
This place is now changing owners idk what's going on but I came here to get crab du jour I was told they have new owners a new name. I was given crab du jour boxes though...They insisted that the food was pretty much the same I wanted to leave and I should have but I ordered and took the chance. I ordered a shrimp po boy, a lobster po boy and drinks. The shrimp was fried it was alright then I noticed they left the tails on in the sandwich. Also they cut the bread in half all the ingredients were all over the place even my 6 year old was turned off! The lobster listen I had to open the sandwich to see where it was at cuz the lettuce was overloaded I literally tasted nothingggggg. Honestly don't waste ur time or money we couldn't eat all the bread since it was toasted so hard just pathetic. The fries we asked for Cajun they had no taste unreal they were plain fries with a few shakes of red seasoning.
They close at 10 on Thursdays. I get there at 9:20 to place an order. The young lady rudely says they're closed. I told them their sign states 10 pm. A man comes out and tells her to take the order. She tells me I can place an order but I had to pay cash. I wanted to tell them to go to hell but I told them never mind. Well, I can go to other places for seafood. Never again.
The food I had was fine, but there's actually no way to order seafood without it coming with a bunch of sides that you may not want to pay for.
