Their haddock and fries are exceptionally delicious, with freshly cut fries that are much better than the frozen ones typically found in other fast food restaurants. The fish is fresh and flavorful, battered and deep fried to perfection. Perky's is a popular spot for both locals and tourists, with a laid-back atmosphere featuring picnic tables and a portable restroom. We enjoyed our fish and chips in the car, savoring every bite while watching the constant flow of customers. We highly recommend stopping by Perky's for a satisfying meal!
I recently visited Perky's, a charming street stand in Elmvale, Montreal, and was treated to delicious fish and chips. The colorful hanging pots of flowers caught my eye, adding to the cheerful atmosphere. The friendly service was excellent, and the selection of fish options included halibut, haddock, cod, and pickerel. I opted for halibut and pickerel, both served in large, non-greasy, and piping hot pieces. There are picnic tables available for dining on-site. Despite any skepticism about finding tasty fish in an agricultural area, diners will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at Perky's.
The fish and chips at this restaurant are delicious and served in generous portions. There are plenty of outdoor seating options with parks and tables available. Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed our lunch. The restaurant is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from the horse sports resort.
My family and I have been getting fish and chips from here for years. Normally the quality of eating is amazing and the meal always came with huge portion sizes. I went to perkys for the first time in this season and was extremely disappointed. I ordered the healbutt meal paid about $17 for a small piece of fish, which was very fat, and about 15 French pommes. it was the size of a half eaten child meal. I went back to let her know and see what they could do with it. they reasoned that this was normal and gave me about 15 more French pommes to compensate. they also forgot the tartaric acid. very disappointed and sadly I believe that this hidden little gem is no longer a hidden gem and the quality goes down to try more of a win. I will look elsewhere to repair my fish and chips in this summer.
Good fries, fish is tasty small portions a wee bit expensive. Good atmosphere nice people who work there. Lots of parking.
