Contribuisci feedbackA group of seven we visited on Wednesday have just disappeared. the meal times were given average $30 price tag. the balinese chicken curry was tasty, but it has to be used the pieces of “Bark” to serve the court before. Also...what looked like a mint chutney served as a guide was in the did minced jalapeño chiliies, really, with a Balinese wicy curry. but the real disappointment was the waitress who wanted to discuss my interpretation of “roh” when it came to the duckbrust. if a customer asks to give some feedback to the kitchen on a teller, which is what the waitress should do, they deliver this feedback. does not accuse the customer not to know what means raw.
The service was friendly and quick. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the porterhouse steak, which was tender and cooked perfectly, served with fresh vegetables. The tempura nori lachs was also crisp and fresh, and absolutely amazing.
When I review restaurants, I consider not only their ambiance and service, but also their focus on culinary details and the variety of items on their menu. The Rivers Restaurant exceeded my expectations with their delicious lamb shank ($30.00), which was served with four puff pastry sticks, a flavorful BBQ sauce, and tasty potatoes and peas. My dining companion opted for the lamb fennel kofta with root dip ($18.00), which also received high praise. We enjoyed a glass of house chardonnay, Morgan's Bay, for $22.00. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. daily.
We were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. The motel reception had recommended it, saying that the portions were huge and we would need a doggy bag, but that was not our experience at all. My wife and I ordered the 14-hour BBQ pork ribs with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The portion size was definitely not big, with only 6 ribs that were both undercooked and dry. The sauce was barely there, the mashed potatoes were small, and the only plentiful part of the meal was the oddly flavored coleslaw. Each meal cost $48, which left us feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. In the end, we went across the road to KFC to satisfy our hunger.
We had the best rib fillet in a long time. Cooked to perfection. The was a variety of meals but the rib fillets was just delicious. Staff lovely.
