Applebee's Grill - Emporia

The table was dirty when we sat. Was not deleted. You weren't busy, so it's not the reason for a dirty table. I ordered well made / crispy frits with my rare Cheeseburger. This must have been a problem because I waited much longer than my wife did for a chicken caesar. Her meal took too long to serve me was almost up and going long. The pommes were crispy. The burger medium good. They gave me ketchup packs because they had no bottles of ketchup. I'd say this is a bad sign for the state of the company. The waitress was nice in the face of the difficult circumstances. That was our first and probably last time to eat at this Applebee.

Food was great service was aight if they would carry the front page specials i would give em 5 stars.

Placed a to go order. Food was good but not hot. Servers were standing around watching me wait to place an order but didn't come to assist me at all. After standing there for almost ten minutes a server that was actually assigned to tables named Jessica passed by greeted me and asked had I been helped. I told her no that the other servers were just looking at me stand there. She apologized and politely took my order. Other servers didn't even try to assist her in doing that.

I was seated quickly, but it took about 15 minutes for a server to come and greet me. While I waited, I noticed some bugs (gnats and mosquitoes) around. The food, however, was delicious, and my drink was perfectly mixed, though the presentation of my margarita was rather sloppy. My server was friendly, but it was clear that she was overwhelmed with the workload. When I went to use the bathroom, I returned to find the manager almost throwing out my belongings, including the fresh drink I had just ordered. This made me feel rushed and unwelcome, and it highlighted a lack of communication among the staff.

That was so good after 14 hours. The waitress was lovely and I hope her good!
