Pino's Pizza Italalian - Emporia

We stopped here while traveling from Maine to Florida, and it was the best pizza we've ever had! The service was excellent as well.

I have always had a great meal and experience at this Pino's location. Definitely a 5-star rating!

I’m not sure what’s happened, but I was really disappointed with my meal today, and I felt compelled to write this review. The reputation of this restaurant is much higher than what I experienced. Ever since the fire last year, the food quality has noticeably declined. Today, when I received my order, the bread was soggy and dripping with grease from my chicken cheesesteak. I couldn’t tell if the meat had been properly thawed before cooking or if it hadn’t been drained of the excess oils, but it was simply inedible. I ended up having to run to a local Food Lion to buy more bread for my chicken Philly. I’m incredibly frustrated, especially since prices have increased significantly since the pandemic, and I’m receiving rushed, subpar food in return. This is totally unacceptable!

When you order a small deluxe pizza and 12 wings two drinks and it comes up to $38.00 not to mention if you go in to eat your waitress is not allowed to go to the table to collect your order. You have to place it before you are seated. No napkins or silverware and they want a tip. This is my last time of patronizing this Pinos I can go to Roanoke Rapids, NC and get the same thing and it will cost less and have a waitress take my order!

My family and I stay at the Days Inn every year during our trip from Maine to Florida and we always eat at Pino’s.
