Sushi Lounge Encinitas

That was honestly the worst sushi I’ve ever experienced. The house salad consisted of a bland wild spring mix with a dressing that had no flavor at all. The rice was dry and lacked seasoning, and it was evident that there was minimal effort put into the sushi itself. Overall, it was a disappointing meal, and the server didn’t stick around long enough to even ask if we enjoyed the food. It was an exceptionally disappointing experience, but on a positive note, the beer was good! They seem to have figured that part out.

I highly recommend this restaurant. They offer a wide variety of roll selections that you won't find at other sushi places in the area. If you enjoy wasabi, be sure to try the wasabi salad—it's fantastic!

This can't be considered sushi. The ingredients were of very low quality. Who cuts a 4-inch sushi roll into 8 pieces? It was not a good experience at all.

Comfortable arrival during their Happy Hour Specials (see picture for hours and specialties) and had an assortment of different roles. Some people have unrealistic expectations for a 10 dollar role of sushi; but everything was fresh, crisp and savory. They had a wide range of fresh seafood, such as Geoduck, Sea Urchin, Otoro Tuna and more, which was in their seasonal fresh cooking menu, and may not be available when you visit. Very recommended.

Pretty dang good for a strip mall sushi spot. The rolls and nagiri we're on point. Beers were cold. Would visit again.
