While the meals come with a hefty side of rice and refried beans, some dishes seem to have a distinct canned flavor. The chimichanga, which is typically crispy from frying, was instead topped with sour cream and guacamole, compromising its texture. However, the soft tacos stood out as the highlight of the meal and are definitely worth trying.
I visit this restaurant more often than I can count (I'm still waiting for my plaque!), and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, high-quality, and authentically Mexican, all served in a cozy atmosphere with excellent service. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of great cuisine. From the endless chips and salsa to the fajitas and fried ice cream, you won’t be let down. Very few places match the consistency that Acapulco offers. Be sure to try the Chile con queso, some spicy salsa, and a fajita to ensure a fantastic meal.
I always appreciate having a great meal! My boyfriend took me to explore new places, and this was one of our stops. On our first visit, we tried the fiesta plate, which was perfect for those with smaller appetites who want to sample a bit of everything. During our second visit, I couldn't get enough of the queso—it’s fantastic! If I’m ever in the mood for chips, I know where to go. The drinks are consistently excellent; I usually opt for a fruity margarita. As for the wings, the buffalo wings are truly amazing—some of the best I’ve ever had! They're warm, juicy, crispy, and full of flavor without being greasy. The service here is also commendable; the staff is quick and very friendly. Overall, it's a wonderful place to enjoy some delicious food!
After I lived in CA for 17 years and was there as a food critic where I was able to find, eat and criticize PAID, I believe that I have become adept to get the best out of the best. For Mexican food, owner Reuben has reached this great time. On the one hand, it is one of the FEW Mexican restaurants that do NOT use the feared Canola-- really bad oil. He knows this and will look at our favorite sustain for the future. We ordered the chicken mol and a naughty pork quesadilla, and a chimichanga and pork enchilada (two different occasions). The mole is refined and incorporated into the enchilada, not only poured on what makes it rich and dreamy. The Quesadilla was fleshy and cheesy and served with sour cream and guak. Yum. Loved the chimichanga, again with Guac and acid cream. the pork enchilada was full of tasty shredded pork and a lot of cheerful kindness. And of course, their margaritas are stellar (more costless than some areas), and there are always free chips and salsa appetizers. Thanks to Rueben, for leading the best Mexican cuisine in the area and surviving the great challenges of recent years. We're so glad you're still here to go for Mexican food, everything as good as our CA experiences.
Great food, fast service, beautiful restaurant! I've been dying for authentic Mexican food and finally found a place for it. Fajitas served with rice and beans of course. Everything was delicious and homemade down to the warm tortilla chips and salsa.
