Prices increased yet again, well done folks you’ve increased prices again within 4 months of your last increase, that’s a sure way of keeping your regulars

This was not the first time I have been in this restaurant over the years. Every time the food is amazing, they nailed that Mediterranean taste. Today I went in for a dinner with my wife. I had a chicken skewer and my wife had the salmon. What to say...harmony of taste, perfectly grilled,seasoned to perfection. Sides were also more than tasty. Other than brilliant food the young man who had shown us to our table and brought us food was very polite and professional which is not a very common thing at his age . All in all food, staff and overall experience is worth every euro and time spent there. I will say that this has become one of my top 3 favorite restaurants ever.

In Ireland for a week to celebrate my mothers 80 birthday. Bad planning meant no venue for dinner on the big day and we were a party of 7! However read some good reviews of Casa Galo Chargrill and whilst walking around Enniscorthy called at restaurant. Whilst they we not actually open staff were present and happy to talk to us and try and make a reservation for us. The restaurant is quite small but has a really nice relaxed atmosphere and is fitted out well. Staff were very attentive and efficient. There is quite an long extensive menu displayed outside the restaurant but that provided once seated is more limited. Nevertheless there was a good choice of dishes all mainly grilled as the name suggests. Our party had, chicken on skewer served on a vertically hanging skewer) suf n turf, butterflied lemon herb chicken breast. All were entertainingly served, perfectly cooked plump and juicy) and with good garnishes. Strawberries and ice cream was great and adapted from the menu and the tiramisu was perfect. Really great restaurant. Super staff and very good value. Highly recommend.

Regular visitors to the galo with friends and also as a couple, however it’s very disappointing to notice the portion sizes in most dishes have decreased in size and prices of house wine and other drinks have increased…. A portion of garlic breaded mushrooms as a starter are now served as half cut mushrooms whilst the renowned chicken special is now a lot smaller in portion size than before both the butterfly chicken breast and the salad, we have also noticed as regular visitors to the galo that the entire experience is a lot more rushed than used be and it seems the staff are more interested in getting you fed and on your way so they can sit and have their food and drink, disappointed as we are it’s still great food and a friendly experience….,

The food was fabulous and the service efficient and friendly highly recommend this restaurant I'll be back for sure I went there for lunch with a friend had never been before it was one of the best meals I have had in a long time
