Gosht - Epping Forest

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to find a live singer performing, who was exceptionally talented. The restaurant was about two-thirds full and had a fantastic atmosphere. The wait staff were very friendly and attentive – a simple gesture would prompt them to come over and take our order. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options on the menu. I found the bill to be very reasonable, considering the restaurant's location, quality of food, and excellent level of service.

The food and service were good and prices were reasonable. However, the music was far too loud and màde conversation difficult at times.

First time here! Not overly busy food wasn't bad but like all Turkish restaurants far too much flatbread and salad! Only one dish we didn't like which wasn't bad considering we didn't have much idea of what we were ordering! Bit expensive but that'll be the wine! Would return service ok

I had lunch from the lunch menu and it was a great value. The portions were good sized and the food was excellently prepared. I much prefer going for lunch than the evening menu. This restaurant is a great little hidden gem with a reasonably priced lunch menu.

Visiting on business trip and decided to try this restaurant out. The food was good but there was a lack of engagement from staff, we are used to excellent customer service from other local restaurants. We were offered water and accepted but believed this was complimentary due to how it was offered, we were astonished to find out we had been charged around £5. It should have been made clear that there was a charge for this. The food,albeit good, took a while to arrive with little interaction from the staff who appeared to be chatting amongst themselves. We were further shocked and surprised by the service charge on the bill. This is not so.ething we are used to or have experienced before, as I say, we are visiting on business. I have since learned that this is optional and we could have refused it but this was not made clear and we felt forced to pay it. All in all this visit left us feeling somewhat disappointed and underwhelmed. Please be more clear with what is being charged for and the options to those expected to pay!
