Amani - Epsom

The food was amazing, but the service really let her down. They brought out our main course over an hour after arrival, and the biggest problem was that we didn't have our starter! So the main course was taken away and had to wait another 20 minutes for the starter! They then brought out 4 appetizers and one of them should have been vegetarian! Then we had to wait until the vegetarian starter was made!! Such a shame as a really great night!!

Amani returns to high-quality inexpensive foods that are not operated by the mill. Although said that one of our party went for a traditional chicken jalfrezi and loved it

Good food prepared by a cook who understands his craft. The Tandoori Royal Court is one of my wife's favorite dishes, while the Punjabi chicken offers enough of a kick without blowing off the head to get me back for more.

Enjoyable restaurant albeit service was slow with hardly any customers in the restaurant. Starters and mains were amazing but the dessert was a little disappointing with rock hard kulfi. Overall it's a great restaurant and we would visit again.

On a quiet Sunday evening Amani served up a treat! The Punjabi chicken was exceptional, always good but over and above this time. The chilli beef was good too and plenty of it, only slight criticism could be the consistency of the yellow lentils. Maybe a little on the glutinous side. Service as ever good. Epsom truly has another high quality Indian .
