In the middle of a new city square, directly opposite the church is the traditional restaurant of the old simpl. the signs with hints to various dishes let us close to the house kitchen. still on the look for a buzzy we saw a free, shady place in the beer garden in front of the house. at the entrance there is a small threshold, the toilets are then flattering, but very cramped. we could not see that our own parking spaces and the public near us are very occupied and paid. service we found were welcomed by a dame. this wore a “modern costume”, white-blue carded bloating and jeans – trimmed on braided blouses and leather pants. she gave us the cards and told us if we already knew what to drink or watch. We ordered two alcohol-free weizen from darmmann to 3,80 € per, acidic lungs with bread for 8,50 € and the daily dish kalbshaxenfleisch with wesing and knocked for 8,90 € the bread was served in a small basket with spoon and serviette. there were three half of it. it was fresh, had a reche crust and tasted us very well. we now know a little different acid lungs. this was cut into very coarse pieces and additionally there were also meat with inside. it was all delicate and juicy, refined with taubsen, neatly tasted with pfeffer, with acidity ratio it should be a bit more for us, otherwise neat taste. they were still bribed with fresh cuts. the calfsalaxen meat was also wonderfully tender and juicy, but partly very fat and grow through. the skin was very laprig of the many sose, of which there was not much of it on the flesh itself. the sauce was a kind of creamy sauce, creamy, ally and from the tastes it fits. the dumpling of the beautiful consistency, bright potato taste and from the spices they cannot bend. we suspect a good finished product. the wesing tasted excellent. quite with speckle, beautiful creamy and the taste of the weed was still wonderful, a shame that it lay in the sauce. simple ordinary kitchen, 4 stars. ambiente, which we had taken before the house. the beer garden area is located on the upper stone pavilion. in front there are long wooden benches, partly with back rest and wooden tables. then there is a kind of rain gutter in the plant and a long wooden bench next to it and before that there are biergarten folding and chairs. sitting here is a bit difficult because the floor is not flat. a few quilted carpets lie on the benches, on the table there is a green-white-carded fabric table cloth, on it there is a ceramic pot with cutlery and serviettes. these have a green color, the logo from the local on them and are somewhat thin. there is also a holder with beer lid and ashtray. the area is shaded with large screens and at the rande with some movable small screens. fast to eat or drink yes, to stay for a long time, it would be too unpleasant to sit through the others. 3.5 star cleanliness in the outside area there was nothing to complain, even on the floor on the toilet. here the usual dust traces, but fine 4.5 stars.
