El Camaron Escondido

The food here is fantastic, especially the grilled octopus, which is phenomenal! It’s perfectly cooked and comes with a generous side of guacamole and asparagus. My wife had the Tostada Loca, which was very flavorful, and we also enjoyed fresh oysters. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience!

Edit: We returned on a Sunday afternoon, this time with our daughter, craving some octopus, and we were blown away! The octopus was perfectly cooked and charred (a la brasa) and was served with their delicious green roasted salsa and house-made teriyaki sauce. I wasn’t a fan of the teriyaki because I prefer seafood without sweet flavors, but that’s just a personal preference. The waitress was friendly, and my daughter seemed to like her, which is a good sign since she usually doesn’t warm up to anyone! Overall, it was a great experience, and fortunately, the restaurant wasn't too crowded.

I have to say that the food is decent, and they have a full bar. However, they really need to improve their cocktails. My Vegas Bomb wasn’t very appealing—it was a bit disappointing. Also, they should invest in sturdier beer mugs; the handles are more suited for a toddler!

I ordered guacamole, octopus tostada and their recommended ceviche bowl that included fresh oysters. My server was on her game she was also taking care of eight other tables. Service was outstanding from server. The music is a little loud but I’m just getting old. Highly recommend this restaurant! Parking: Parking was a breeze but this was at 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday.
