Pad Thai - Escondido

My boyfriend and I often meet here as a convenient halfway point, and we always enjoy the excellent food and service. And let me tell you about the water—it’s absolutely fantastic! I'm not sure what their filtering process is, but it's so fresh and crisp. They often add a mint leaf and a strawberry, which makes it even better. I would honestly come here just for the water!

The food was delicious and incredibly affordable! I ordered the pad see ew lunch special, which came with an ample portion that could easily serve as two meals for a low price. It was so tasty. Ni-ru (sp?) offered amazing service and was incredibly friendly; my daughter was really sad to leave. It was evident that regular customers genuinely appreciated her. This place is a fantastic choice for authentic Thai food!

The food is usually amazing, but this time we had an issue. I ordered my usual cashew chicken with extra cashews at spice level 1, along with two servings of peanut noodles at spice level 0, fried rice at spice level 0, and a garlic delight at spice level 3. Unfortunately, all the dishes were spicy, to the point that we couldn't enjoy our meal. I was really disappointed that they didn't pay attention to our spice preferences. My kids were let down as well.

The flavors were great, and they really accommodate your preferred level of spiciness. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was satisfactory. I especially enjoyed the duck curry, which was made with tender duck meat. I also tried the mixed appetizer, which comes with two of each item—those spring rolls were enormous! The accompanying sauces were fantastic as well! I left with a big smile and will definitely return.
