Paleteria Mixteca - Escondido

Exotic flavors = excellent! I absolutely loved it. Most of their flavors are fruit-based, so while you won't find traditional options like rocky road or mint chocolate chip, you can enjoy unique ice cream flavors like Mamey, a tropical fruit from Mexico, as well as ice cream bars made from Nance, guava, tamarind, and my personal favorite, mango with chili.

This local ice cream shop is fantastic, offering an array of specialty flavors, including fun options like cotton candy for the kids. They also serve Mexican delights, such as a Mexican cheesecake that seemed to have a strawberry flavor—definitely on my list for next time! I was excited to see mamey ice cream; I remember trying that fruit during my visit to Tulum. It paired wonderfully with the coconut ice cream, and both were incredible! They also feature fresh fruit and make smoothies and acai bowls. I noticed someone leave with a mango topped with tajin, and I was so tempted to get one to go, but I had already satisfied my sweet tooth, haha! I will definitely be back, especially since we often visit the water store in the same lot. I just wish we had taken photos of our delicious treats before finishing them. Next time for sure!

Best Chamango in town! Their lime ice cream is like no other. Great little Shop.

Vary good place but I wet 2 times for a strawberry water and guess what. They were out I had to go to the other 1 next to the dollar tree
