I ordered the caramel coffee, the California club panini, and a side salad. I haven't enjoyed a meal this much in a while! Honestly, the best thing I've eaten in a long time. My friend and I are going to make this our weekly lunch spot. Thank you, Sunnyside Kitchen!

Sunny Side Kitchen is hands down the best place to eat. Their sandwiches are satisfying yet light, and the watermelon lemonade is the perfect drink to accompany your meal. Escondido is lucky to have this gem of a cafe, it's like a little piece of Paris right here. We are so grateful that Bob and Kate decided to make this their home.

I got my first haircut since the pandemic nearby and decided to walk around and maybe grab a bite somewhere. Saw this place and I remember hearing about it on the news so I walked in with a traditional breakfast (omelette, biscuits 'n gravy etc) in mind. This is a Panini Place oh I 'm not really a panini person... (barely knew what a panini was) try our breakfast panini the people here were so nice and friendly I decided to do a half-order breakfast panini to go. Damned if I wish I had ordered a whole sandwich it was so tasty. I guess I 'm a panini person now. The best part of the sandwich was the parmesan that got melted into a crunchy crust that coated the bread, never had anything like it. My new spot folks!

Went in on Monday around 10 am. The place is small but there is indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Got the 808 panini and a dozen chocolate chip cookies. The Sandwich was very good. The bread was soft yet perfectly toasted. The cheeses/spam and avocado had the perfect balance of salt and fat. The cookies are so soft, and I could easily have eaten all 12! Definitely a great hidden gem in Escondido
