Varandas Do Cavado - Esposende

I stayed for one night at the Suave Mar hotel in which the restaurant is located, whilst walking the Camino. The hotel is ok but a long walk from Esposende. The experience turned out to be a hilarious display of unfriendly service and poorly cooked food, which is an achievement given the astonishingly fresh catch available within a km of the restaurant. Octopus can be difficult to cook well but this was by far the worst i have ever had. The service was, to put it kindly, unhelpful from the outset and when at the end was asked how the meal was I explained that it wasn’t very good but at least it was over. The waiter just said thank you and left. I strongly suggest that there must be somewhere better to eat locally. I strongly suggest you choose somewhere else to eat.

Salmon carpaccio... shrimp risotto! Wow! Great food at this hotel restaurant was an unexpected surprise after a long day of walking the Coastal Camino! Highly recommend!

Un sitio precioso con muy buena atención la comida es de calidad

Restaurante muy clásico, tanto en el ambiente como en la comida. Nos ha gustado, todos los platos estaban ricos. El pescado de buena calidad. Nos ha traído recuerdos nostálgicos… tienen carro de postres!! Buena relación calidad-precio.

Recomenda-se....muito boa cosinha, atendimento espectacular, ambiente incomparável ,vista sobre o oceano,enfim tudo muito bom!....uma referencia!...
